When I heard the Willow and SZA jam, my mind went spiraling. Work has been so busy and I’ve been having a depressive spell, so motivating myself to draw has been hard. These two are always there for me when I’m down; I don’t know what it is about them and their broken romance, but it’s always cathartic to revisit them.
But eventually I want them to have a happy ending. The plot needs a lot of incubation until I can leave the vortex they take me to. Maybe that’s the magic and curse of stories you invent during bad times of your life.
