Gemsona: Sunstone

Wow after 2 YEARS I was finally able to do the fusion between my two gemsonas _(:3｣∠)_

 

Obsidian’s gem is on their throat and they have lava breath, while Spinel’s gem is on her left ear and her powers are sound-based. Sid’s weapon is a giant mace, and Spin’s weapons are a pair of headphones, so naturally their combination, Sunstone, was bound to be a swanky Jazz singer with an old school mic for a weapon! Basic arithmetic, really.

While it seems unlikely, Obsidian and Spinel actually get along very well. Sid becomes naturally protective when around Spinel, who disarms Sid’s temper. A lot of their relationship is about balance

With Obsidian’s fiery, aggressive confidence mixed with Spinel’s gentle and soft-spoken nature, Sunstone has a more collected ego; but Sid’s heat brings out (or rather enables) the selfishness in Spinel, giving Sun something of a prissy attitude on top of it.

Sunstone is a beautiful force to be reckoned with, but they’ll go easy on you if you compliment their hair
